This Emergency Calling Policy ("Policy") is incorporated into BST's Terms of Service and applies to all customers using our VoIP phone services. It explains the operation and limitations of dialing 911 (or other local emergency numbers) using Big Sky Telecom's VoIP services, and your responsibilities to ensure emergency responders can assist you when needed. Emergency calling through VoIP is different from traditional landline 911, so please read this policy carefully. If you have any concerns about these limitations, we strongly advise you to maintain an alternative means of accessing emergency services (such as a cellular phone or traditional telephone line) as a backup.
