    Setup & Number Porting

    How long does the whole process take?

    Most businesses are fully set up and live within 5-10 business days. Number porting is usually the longest step. It depends on your current provider releasing the numbers.

    Will I lose my business phone number?

    No. We port your existing numbers to our platform. During the transition, your old system stays active so you never miss a call.

    Do I need new phones?

    Not necessarily. If you have compatible IP phones, we can often configure them. If you need new hardware, we'll recommend options that fit your budget, or you can use our softphone app on your existing devices.

    What if my internet isn't great?

    We assess your network before installation. VoIP requires stable bandwidth, not necessarily fast bandwidth. In most cases Montana business internet connections work fine. If there's an issue, we'll tell you before you sign anything.

    Is there a contract?

    No. Big Sky Telecom operates on month-to-month terms. If we're not earning your business, you can leave.

    What about HIPAA compliance?
